Our Values & Equity Commitment

At Neurodivergent.Guide, we’re building a fairer world for every kind of mind — a world that doesn’t expect people to hide who they are to be understood.

1. Fairness, not sameness

Equity means giving people what they need to take part — not treating everyone the same and calling it fair.

2. Trust and autonomy

People know themselves best. We don’t fix or manage difference — we work with it.

3. Strengths and dignity

Neurodivergence is part of human diversity. We focus on strengths, creativity, and individual needs — never on “normalising.”

4. Inclusion in action

Neurodivergent experiences are shaped by culture, race, gender, class, disability, and sexuality. We recognise this and stand against all forms of discrimination.

5. Language with care

We use identity-first language (like autistic person) because many find pride in it. Language is personal — we respect each person’s choice.

6. Collaboration and curiosity

We learn from each other — neurodivergent people, families, and professionals side by side. Curiosity keeps us connected and learning.

Equity means removing barriers that never should’ve been there, and helping every person be seen, heard, and supported for who they truly are.
